Ambedo Travel is a boutique agency that curates luxury travel experiences unique to the budgets and desires of our clients, with an emphasis on service that allows our clients to fully immerse themselves in new and exciting destinations and cultures.
How Ambedo Travel Works
Everyone has different approaches and priorities when it comes to travel planning. For this reason, I believe that a person should choose a travel agent who best suits their needs.
Traditionally, travel agents use booking systems and preferred providers that may be outside of clients’ budgets. At Ambedo Travel, we do utilize these systems but we are also open to building travel that does not require the use of these systems and consequently may be lower in price. When using these systems, commission is typically included in the booking, however, when these systems are not used, commission may not be received.
For this reason, you may notice that services include a base fee. This base fee ensures that the travel agent is compensated for time & services rendered.

My name is Shakita and I am a lover of travel. My goal is to provide budget appropriate services from beginning to end. I don’t just plan trips; I provide travel experiences.
I grew up in a military household so I spent most of my life traveling abroad. The excitement of experiencing new places, cultures, and people from all walks of life never left me. I’ve developed a passion for wanting to extend that curiosity about lives outside of our own to others.
I think getting first hand exposure to how other people live is a significant aspect of creating a more harmonious and empathetic society. I consider it a true source of joy and privilege when my clients reach out to me with pictures and videos doing an activity they never imagined themselves doing. It’s a real honor to be a part of creating those kinds of experiences.
